Vernis Motors SL designs and manufactures brushless motors that can be powered by both DC/AC converters and DC/DC converters. These motors can be supplied with or without electronic control.
Apart from industrial ventilation applications, these motors can also be applicated in the field of mobility.
They are distinguished by there improved efficiency over traditional induction motors, being able to obtain efficiencies above 90%.
The constructive form can be similar to the IEC motor types 63, 90 and 112 or with extruded aluminium housing.
The electronic control can be mounted on the inside of the models type 63, 80 and 90.

The Micro-Hydro (MCH) VERNIS MOTORS is a medium-low pressure hydroelectric plant (between 2 and 150 meters of water height difference) that will provide electricity and hot water to all the places that have an available watercourse that, depending on the pressure and water flow rate conditions available, can generate from a few watts up to several kilowatts.

The MCH is designed with special attention to the consumer. The user will receive equipment which can be easily installed to transform and generate electricity. The main feature that makes this product outstandingly different from the rest is its vision as a complete set, it only requires a water source and the micro-hydro will provide standard consumption electricity for household use(230V, 50 -60Hz).

The current problems of power generation and the inability to use the resources offered by the planet on a small scale will be discussed. Following, its operation and the elements which form the micro-hydro will be explained.

Later, a power chart will be provided indicating the relation between the water flow and the height difference. Also, the experimental result of the hydraulic power unit certifying the robustness of the system will be discussed.

Catalogues and explanatory videos for the diffusion of the product will be suitable for all audiences, not only for technical or specialized staff, taking advantage of its distinguished feature which is the easy installation of the MCH.

And finally, an economic analysis of the system based on the various application possibilities offered by the micro-hydro unit (like an isolated operating system or for energy sales use) will close this report.

Besides electric motors Vernis Motors also supplies converters and electronic drives to control electric motors, whether asynchronous motors or brushless motors.Within the range brushless motors, there are two possibilities, motors with Hall sensors, which allow the motor to start when a low starting torque is required, or sensorless motors that do not require this type of boot.

 

Electronic circuits for DC power supply:
For supply voltages of 12 and 24 Vdc with maximum motor amperage of 17, 34 and 67 A, or to say 1600W. Standard speeds are 1500 or 3000 rpm although there is the possibility to program other speeds.

Electronic circuits for AC supply:
Control of induction motors and brushless motors for supply voltages of 230 V and power of 1.1 kW and 2.2 kW. These circuits are equipped with a 0-10V analog input, a digital input and a communication option with an auxiliary control circuit, plus an entry to read the motor temperature.

Frequency drives automatically adjustable for voltages of 110 V or 230 V which allows control of asynchronous motors up to 15000 rpm
Converters for single-phase Input 230V 50/60 Hz and three-phase output 230 V 200 Hz, with powers up to 1.8 KVA.
The circuits have over current, short circuit and high voltage protection to ensure proper operation and equipment protection.
The design of the circuits is made to satisfy with the directives and applicable standards:

Adjustable frequency drives automatically voltages of 110 V or 230 V and allow control of asynchronous motors up to 15000 rpm Converters Input 230V 50/60 Hz.

Single and output to 230 V three-phase 200 Hz, with powers up to 1.8 KVA.

The plates have overcurrent protection, short circuit, overvoltage to ensure proper operation and equipment protection.
